X-Men Origins: Wolverine Review

I haven't posted a movie review in a really long time but this movie made me run back home just to review it. The movie is a piece of art. It is truly an incredible movie which combines everything in it including an incredible story, amazing acting and masterpiece direction. X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a truly MUST SEE movie. 

I would give it a 10/10

Story Line:

X-Men Origins: Wolverine" tells the story of Wolverine's epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe.

Guess Who ?

Let's see if you know this guy or not, because I did show it to many friends but they didn't recognize him. I'll put the answer as an update tomorrow.

Update : This is the picture of H.H. Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the reason of putting his picture is because I was shocked from those who didn't know him. I guess it was an easy test after all.

Super Hero .. Anyone ?

The Shadow Hare is fighting crime on the streets of Cincinnati. It's funny that he is not the only "Super Hero", There are so many of them !
Shadow Hare is 21 years old, but did you hear his voice ?! well, I don't think this tiny voice would scare a fly, so how a bout a bad ass criminal ?

They are so crazy ! .. this is why I'm not going to buy comic books for my kids.

Police Stops Bicyclist !

It's kind of weird, but also great. I hope that policemen here in Kuwait is as the same as the one in the video, at least they care about your safety not finishing their violation book !

Alcohol in Sultan Center

Of course everybody knows that Sultan Center is from a Kuwaiti production, well I found it in Beirut and I was excited to see it. While I was touring around in Sultan Center I accidentally saw hundreds of Alcohol bottles. I was really shocked because Sultan Center is owned by a Kuwaiti person.

I was really sad to know that Sultan Center sells prohibited things outside Kuwait.

Barcelona vs Madrid - El Classico

The most famous and strongest match among all the leagues, FC Barcelona vs Real Madrid will be on next Saturday. Real Madrid leads FC Barcelona by 68 to 59. There has been 30 draws in El Classico history till today. We can say that both teams hate each other because of their dark history. Barcelona represent a town used to be a country called Catalonia before the Spain invasion. King of Spain used to torcher Barcelona players so they can be defeated by Real Madrid, "The Government Club". After the king's death, things been changed but the hate between Catalonia and Spain is still the same.

I recommend you to watch this amazing match, it will be at 09:00pm on Al-Jazeera +2 .. Forca Barca !

Angels & Demons

I'm kind of addict to Tom Hanks' movies specially those like the "Di Vinci Code". Sony Pictures proudley presents his new upcoming movie "Angels & Demons", it will be release on 15 May 2009. From the trailer I think this movie will be one of the best for this year.

Can't wait to see it.

Update : May 15th is the day of the World Premiere, but May 14th will be the day of Kuwait's Premiere of the movie.

"Geely International" is a Chinese car company, their logo is "Beyond Value". The funny thing is that they have made a copy of Rolls Royce Phantom and of course with a much lower price, they named it "Geely Ge" .. can you just imagine that .. from Phantom to Geely Ge !

Now everyone can have a Rolls Royce for his driver, or can I say "Geely Ge".

It is good to be back home. I have a lot of things to say about lebanon. But let me tell you one thing, the weather was just simply beautiful. I absolutely loved the pure weather!

The Real Madrid Defender, Pepe Goes Off the Limit !

This happened during their last match against Getafe on 21 April 2009. The Real Madrid defender, Pepe, will be punished by not playing 6 matches only and the funny thing that the club it self didn't punish the player !

He attacked a player, kicked him while lying on the ground, pulled his hair off, squeezed his arm, put a foot on his stomach then leg, punched another two players in the face and last but not least insulted the referees. I recommend you to watch from 1:38, to know exactly what happened.

80's Commercials

One of the best commercials and the most famous in 80's, is the Pizza Italia running guy. This commercial reminds me of my childhood. Also there is "Hamburger Al-Deera" from Hardees, Ghanem Al-Saleh appears in this one.

Police Chargers Hit the Roads

Police Chargers begin to show in Kuwait streets, also Land Cruiser in the desert areas and Mustangs for the high ways. However, the chargers look amazing with the black and white, and for the Audi version I didn't notice any yet !

Let me know if anyone saw a police Audi.

Leaving to Beirut

I will be leaving to Beirut today in the afternoon inshallah. It will be a short trip from thursday to saturday. My last visit to Lebanon was almost 5 years ago so I'm very excited to spend my weekend in Beirut.

If anyone knows any places you recommend in beirut that will be very helpful.

Mom and Stepmom Fight in the Streets

This is a fight between a mom and the stepmom of the movie "Slumdog Millionaire's"  child star Rubina Ali. The fight is kinda brutal for two moms who are grown ups. This happened in mumbai and apparently it's because Ali's father tried to sell her 9 year old daughter for 300 thousand dollars.

A Million Dollar Golf Shot

First Camel Clone Born in Dubai

The world's first cloned camel has been created by scientists in Dubai. Injaz, which means achievement in Arabic, is the name of the female one-humped camel and it was born on the 8th of April.

Scientists said that this breakthrough might provide a means of preserving the genetics of elite racing and milk-producing camels.

Siege on Abu Ramya's House

Yesterday, Abu Ramya's house was in security presence on the control of security forces, he turned himself voluntarily and went to the prosecutor by his own car.

In front of the house and the presence of a number of candidates from the tribe Mutair, where Hussein Mazyad said that what security forces did was a manner that does not, however, apply only in the police countries .. What is the crime of Abu Ramya that makes him five-hours on siege? This is an outlet to the Minister of the Interior".

Also Public Prosecutor requested a warrant to the municipal council member, Khalifa Al-Khrafi and the former Deputy Mohammed Al-Saqer, but the latter insisted that he didn't recieve anything and if they want him he'll be there.

Don't forget that Al-Tahous is still in custody for investigation.

Kuwait's Harley Owner's Group at the Avenues

Kuwait's Harley Owners' Group (H.O.G.) will be holding a biking show next Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Avenues Mall. The program will begin at 3:30pm, with live DJs playing music and kids' entertainment also being provided. The bikers will arrive at 4:30pm, and at 5:00 the judging will start. The winners will be announced at 8:00pm, and the event will conclude at 9:00pm.

The funny thing is that it has about 400 members, including around 20 lady bikers !

Express Service

Well, as I said before, there was a kind of sale at Express store ( buy 2 get 1 free ) and I didn't find the color that I wanted. However, I talked to the manager on that day and he was so nice with me that he told me I can buy one now and before the end of the week they will bring more collection with the color I asked to buy. They took my number and e-mail to contact me as soon as the collection arrives to the store, which they didn't !

I went back to the store, took two polo's, head to the cashier and showed him the recipt. He refused to accept it, so he called the manager and he was so tolerant because I told him about what happened before and it's their mistake for not calling me when it's arrived. The manager took the recipt and told the cashier to make me pay only for one polo and the second one is free.

I guess they have a bad and a good in treating a customer. So what do you think about what happened ?

I've heard that an ACK student suddenly passed away today morning inside the ACK building. I've seen police cars around the ACK building. please if anyone can confirm if it's true or not.

Update:

It is true. His name is Khalid Al-Ajeel and he passed away from a heart attack in his car at ACK's parking lot.

Bathing with Piranhas

I think most of you know what is a Piranha. Piranhas are freshwater fish live in warm rivers, they feed mainly on small fish, crustaceans, and carrion. They my attack people especially if something like blood attracts them. This is especially true during the dry season, when food becomes scarce and piranhas have been known to attack anything that goes into the water within seconds.

My Favorite Childhood Cartoon

My favorite childhood cartoon of all time is without a single doubt [ Al-Ramya Al-Moltahiba ] you guys have absolutely no idea how much this cartoon means to me. I seriously became in love with it ever since I was a little kid and I've watched it again and again as I grew up. It really brings back some good memories of my childhood.

Guitar Hero Metallica Edition

At last, my favourite rock band released their own guitar hero edition on PS3 and X-BOX. I played it two days ago and it was such a blast !

The graphics and effects looked just like as if they are really perfoming live on TV.

Are you into rock music ( heavy, metal or classic ) ? Then I advice you to buy this game, of course with the guitar.

I hate my iPhone only for one thing, you have to pay, pay and pay for every single update !

Yesterday, I tried to update the latest version 2.2.1, after downloading the full upgrade and install it in my phone, they locked it AGAIN !

However, I searched the web to find out how to unlock the iPhone and guess what ! I've unlocked my phone with having the latest update .. so "IN YOUR FACE" apple :p

Laughing Man Accidentally Swallows Scissors

A diner must have regretted ignoring the advice of his mother who warned him never to pick his teeth with nail scissors !
Because when Kong Lin heard an after-dinner joke he roared with laughter and swallowed the 10cm (4in) clippers which got wedged in his throat. This reminds me of the razor blade which was found in Al-Kalha restaurant !

To make matters worse, when the 27-year-old tried to cough them up, they cut in and got stuck deeper in his flesh. Mr Kong, from Putian in China, went to hospital where he had surgery with a local anaesthetic to remove them.

A stadium covered with a mobile dome that can fit for more than 6000 spectators. In addition to an expanded field for more than 2500 spectators with 10 outdoor courts and 8 indoor courts. All this will be attached to hotel, health club, tennis academy and parking lots.

The project will be somewhere near "360 mall" and it will take at least one year and half.

Not Over the Line !

Why does a parking lot have lines ? so you can park on the lines ? or to park between the two lines ?

I've been asking my self these questions after noticing the number of people parking like they don't care about the others by taking two parking lots and the car is just as the size of my shoes !

I don't know why they park this way, if he/she doesn't know how to park please let someone else do it for them or just don't drive at all ! .. A lot of students miss their classes because of people like this !
