House Of Saddam

I've just saw the House Of Saddam series; it was published by BBC in four espisodes. They show his life time from the day that he became the president of Iraq till he dies, such an interesting story to watch.

But I'm pissed off about one thing .. they put our Amir Shaikh Jaber "allah yer7oma", in a bad image! like he's trying to steal Iraqi's oil and then they invade Kuwait!

The Festival Will Be Delayed

Hala February festival will be delayed because of the bad weather. So instead of having it on Friday, it will be on Saturday.

Tom and Jerry hit the big screen

Warner Bros. is to make a feature-length adaptation of the classic cartoon "Tom and Jerry" for cinema.

Like "Garfield", the squabbling pair will be brought to life by computer-generated imagery, backed by real sets.

The film will reveal how the two characters met and how their rivalry began.

Then finding themselves lost in Chicago, they will have to pull together to make a perilous journey home. As the owner of the rights to Hanna-Barbera productions, this is not Warner's first attempt at the genre.

The studio scored a major hit with the two "Scooby Doo" films. Other upcoming projects include Robert Rodriguez's version of "The Jetsons" and an adaptation of "Yogi Bear" by Donald De Line.

Mixed Football Match

According to Al-Watan newspaper, an Iranian football club said yesterday it has suspended three officials for allowing the club's female team and its youth male squad to play against one another - the first such match since the 1979 Islamic revolution.

It was the first time in the 30 years of Iran's Islamic establishment that men and women played football together. Iran's strict Islamic rules ban any physical contact between unrelated men and women.

Marble Slab Creamery

Last week my brother told me that I had to go to a place called Marble Slab in Al-Kout .. He told me that they make ice cream in a unique/weird way. I had to try it out so the other night me and my bro went to Al-Kout . The place was small but well organized. We almost tasted every kind of ice cream before we have chosen one! What really disappointed me is that their caramel ice cream wasn't that good! Anyways I chose the praline ice cream.

When he took the 3 scoops he putted them all on the table and told me to choose some cracker flavours. They had a lot of flavours.

After choosing some crackers he mixed them up together real good.

A truly amazing ice cream. I really loved it and I recommend everyone to try it out.

Johnny Rockets' New Menu

I've just recieved an e-mail says that Johnny Rockets will start launching their new menu by next week. There will be new items such as : "Yummy Steak Sandwich - The perfect Brownie - Banana Split with Moist Toppings". They will upgrade also some items like the "Double Smoke House".

Sounds good !

Al-Kharafi Company is going to buyout Liverpool Club ?

Two days ago, I heared that Al-Kharafi Company is going to buyout Liverpool Football Club and I didn't believe that. According to Al-Watan News Paper they say that Al-Kharafi asked the club if they can promote and advertise Port Ghalib which is built by Al-Kharafi Company, and they have denied the Liverpool buyout report. So are we going to see Port Ghalib logo on the club's shirts ? And does it mean that the arabs are going to invade the English Premier League ?

"The Early Bird", American Breakfast Restaurant

This restaurant was opened on March 2008 in Fahaheel, Kuwait. It's Owned and operated by an American, her name is Bianca Simonian from Los Angeles. They are open six days a week from 5am to 3pm, closed on Sundays.

Today while I'm reading AL-WATAN newspaper I saw an advertisment from the Porsche company it self that says that the new Porsche Panamera is in Kuwait !

It look like Corrvette Z06 from the front but with 4 doors. Now, I have to think twice before buying a car.

Turkey .. 3la Rasi !

There was a game between Turkey and Israeli club, I think on the 16th of Jan, it was in basketball. However, the crowd were waiting the game to start but when the Israeli team entered the stadium the crowd start throwing shoes and went down the stadium to beat up the Israeli team till they ran away. My First Visit to UNO

Today I visited UNO Chicago Grill at the avenues; the food, the view and the location are amazing ! .. my rate to this restaurant is 10/10

How to Make A Cesar Salad

The best kind of salad is the one that you make by your self, so here is one of my favourite salads ever; Cesar Salad. It's very easy that anybody can make one for himself, just buy lettuce heart, homemade croutons and the things that you will need for the sauce recipe.

The sauce recipe :
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Worcestershire
1 clove of garlic (minced)
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 c Parmesean cheese
1 tbsp of milk or half and half

Mix all ingredients together and shake or whisk until well blended then add the mixture to the lettuce (after cutting it into pieces and mix it with the croutons) and you will have the best cesar salad ever.

Coca Cola and Mentos

I just received an E-mail stating that a mixture of mentos and coca-cola kills you! I didn't beleive them until I did some googling .. Well, it turned out that a little boy died in brazil after eating MENTOS and drinking COCA-COLA at the same time!

Furthermore, I went to youtube and typed "Mentos and Coca-Cola" and found out that if you putted a mentos inside a bottle of coca-cola it literally erupts! (As shown in the picture above)

Caution .. Hot Beverage !

A strange e-mail was sent to me this morning about a Saudi company called "NADA". Companies like NADA should be prepared with trucks that contain fridges to cool down the drinks they carry, specially in the gulf area due to the hot weather. I've been shocked while watching these photos ..

Here is a picture of boxes that contains milk in different flavors "boiled" in the hot sun. The problem is that its not only one truck ! .. lets count together ..

Naif's Hairy Sauce !

My friend just ordered from "Naif" ( the one in Qadesiya ), he found that the chicken he ordered was covered with hair, exactly the same thing when your hair goes straight when you feel cold and there was a red color in the chicken, also they forgot to put the fries in the bag !
He went back to the restaurant and show it to the manager; the funny thing is, the manager told my friend that this hair is from the sauce it self, so nothing wrong with your meal !
The good thing is that my friend returned all his money back.

So if you want to eat chicken breast with extra hair-sauce just call naif and enjoy your meal =)

Cheering Kuwait in Muscat was a blast

I just came back from Muscat.. We did an awesome job in cheering kuwait against iraq.. The stadium was small not that big although it looked much bigger on TV .. I loved the mountains in Muscat, they were everywhere! and the Omanies were soo nice and kind.. If anyone missed the game it ended in a draw 1-1 .. But we are QUALIFIED which is awesome!

Financial Penalty for Kanoute

Kanoute ( Sevilla Player ) was punished by a financial penalty because of showing a t-shirt with the word "Palestina" during a match against Deportivo on Wednesday within the King's Cup.

The International Football Federation (FIFA) prohibited the involvement in all policy matters to be related to football.

Having a large bottom could help protect against diabetes, claims study

Researchers believe the type of fat that accumulates around the hips and buttocks, rather than around your stomach, may offer some protection against developing the disease.
But fat that collects around the stomach, known as visceral fat and often resulting in a 'beer belly', can raise a person's risk of diabetes and heart disease.
That means people with pear-shaped bodies, with fat deposits in the buttocks and hips, are likely to be less prone to these disorders, concluded the research at Harvard Medical School.
