Too Much Tron ?

Saw this car days ago while I was driving on the 5th Ring Road, kinda like the movie Tron. It looks good actually and perfectly made.

Could it be the new trend ( habba ) ?

Bad Translation ?

 A juice cart located at Kuwait Airport has this bad translated juice menu, they really need to fix this since it sends a bad image to our visitors when they visit Kuwait. Ask a 10yrs old kid and he/she will say to you that milk shakes are not juice, and since you don't know how to write "Awar Qalb" just write it as it is but in English !

Just check the two pictures and count the translation mistakes, I found like 5 mistakes see if you can find more too.

I wonder who wrote this menu ?

Nike Hates Thieves

We went to Nike store in 360 Mall few days back and noticed this weird device attached to almost every item in the store specially clothes. After asking the employees there, they told us that this device will shatter, spill lots of red/yellow ink on the stolen item and may cause injury.

Thieves will think twice before stealing from Nike now.

Dogs Can Send Owner to Jail

Having a dog that always barks at night until it ruins your neighbor's sleep time might ends you up staying two months in Jail. If you own a dog already and live in Kuwait don't panic yet, because it's applied only in Italy.

Four people were sentenced in Sicily to two months in jail since they refused to keep their 10 dogs quiet at night. They also paid a fine of $684 each.

We should do the same here in Kuwait.

No Valentine's Day in Russia

It seems like not all the Russians are in love with the Valentine's Day idea. Authorities have banned celebrating this day in schools and other state institutions since some of them see it as an unhealthy phenomenon.

Also many nightclubs and other businesses in the province 600km south of Moscow decided to not have any special event for the February 14th holiday.

Should we do the same thing here in Kuwait ?

PF.Chang's: A Dead Bee in My Drink

Yesterday I went to have lunch with one of my friends in the Avenues Mall, so we decided to eat at PF.Chang's. Everything was perfect until I asked them to refill my diet pepsi, I was shocked to find a dead bee in my drink !

I called the manager and he asked our waiter to replace the drink with a new one. This time the guy who made the drink came by himself to give me the diet pepsi, apologized to me and told me that he checked the drink this time. When we asked for the check we noticed that the diet pepsi was on the house and not mentioned in the check.

I really hope that it won't happen again since I'm a big fan of PF.Chang's.

Car on The Top of A House in Kuwait

That's kinda weird and never thought it will happen only maybe in Shuwaikh Industrial Area shops, but not in my area !

I really don't understand the reason of putting the red car on the top of the house. Is it some kind of a decoration ? they're turning their house into a shop ?

As they say in Arabic " اذا عرف السبب بطل العجب " or if you knew the reason you'll wonder no longer.

Cheestrings: Shallom, I'm In Israel !

Cheestrings is a company that produce cheese sticks and you can find them at Sultan Center here in Kuwait. The thing is I was very surprised to find this written inside one of the cheese sticks besides the flag of Israel "Shallom, I'm in Israel .. where you can dive in the Red Sea and go snow-skiing on Mt.Hemron all in one day! Make up a wacky sport that combines two others!"

Should Sultan Center remove this product or keep it ?

Mistakes From Kuwait University Books

My friend who studies in Kuwait University is struggling from the big amount of mistakes being shown in each sentence. These are a few of the many mistakes available.

"اسم الكتاب "حقوق الانسان في وقتي السلم والنزاعات المسلحه

I personally think that books from universities should be properly checked and verified from mistakes because they are being used and taught by students.

Women Will Be Wearing Bisht ?!

A Scale Model That Costs $2.9 Million

Bugatti Veyron's diamond edition scale model that has been made by Stuart Hughes & Robert Gulpen of Munich, reached almost $3 million which is more expensive than the car itself !

It weighs approx 7kg, made in 24k gold and platinum with a diamond front from 7.2 carats. It took them 2 months to finish this scale model.

If I have that amount of money I would buy the car itself instead of it's scale model !

2 Years Old Baby Smokes 40 Cigarettes A Day !

I just can't believe what I'm watching, a 2 years old Indonesian baby smokes not just one cigarette .. but 40 each day !

The problem is that his parents are encouraging him to smoke and now the baby is addicted to nicotine.

The Real Life Solid Snake - Metal Gear

Every body knows the most famous game "Metal Gear" ( Mostly guys ) produced by Konami and the incredible video game designer "Hideo Kojima". Solid snake is the main character in this game and while surfing the net I found this image of an old man that looks exactly the same as the old solid snake.

I hope that they create a movie of the same video game, this will be more than amazing !

Great White Sharks Became Peaceful Creatures?

I did post about Kevin Richardson "The Lion Whisperer" who play and sleep with lions as if they were cats. Valerie Taylor is an Australian shark and underwater expert, she loves to hand-feed the great white shark and pet it's nose. I don't know how she does it but if I were in her shoes I might faint immediately !

Look at the video above, the shark can grab her hand while taking the fish and have a very delicious meal instead of these tiny fish but it doesn't .. It's like feeding a puppy !

Kevin plays with lions and Valerie pets great white shark's nose, what's next ?!

A Real Beast Master - The Lion Whisperer

Kevin Richardson is an animal behaviorist and he's so close to animals that he can sleep with almost every kind of them specially big cats like lions, tigers, cheetahs, leopards and more. You may not believe these images put this man trust a lion over a human and spend his time with them as if they were cats not a predetor.

Kevin has had an accident were a 4 years old male lion attacked and start bitting him, but something about Kevin's passive reaction made the lion stops. Thats why he never engages wild animals if he feels there is something wrong.

He says that he can get close to any big cat under a year old and become friends with it, but he feels more safe and comfortable with animals he has known from birth.

It's kinda scary but I would love to have a lion as a friend !
