Khobiz Regag & Nutella

Yesterday we decided to try a restaurant called Hanhum, located at AlHamra Tower near Elevation Burger. Their menu is full with Kuwaiti food like Machbous, Baryani and famous Kuwaiti desserts.

I was in a mood for some Nutella and they told me that they can add Nutella to either what we call in Arabic Khobiz Regag ( similar to the normal crepe ) or Iranian Bread, and I choose Khobiz Regag as something new to try.

It was delicious and mouth watery but I think they over cooked it since it was kinda harder than I thought when I grabbed a bite. What makes Khobiz Regag so special and different from the normal crepe is the crunchy feeling you get with every bite unlike the crepe which is soft.

It costs only 750fils, give it a try.

Elevation Burger Now At Al-Hamra Mall

Elevation Burger had a soft opening yesterday at Al-Hamra Mall and suppose to be officially open by today or at the end of this weekend. It's located on the 2nd floor where in the food court almost at the end of the mall.

This time Elevation Burger will have a device same as the one we saw at Shake Shack but kinda smaller and thinner. The best part, they now have more and bigger seats for their customers unlike the small branch at The Avenues.

Give them a visit this weekend and you'll have the chance to see how cool Al-Hamra mall looks like from the inside too, even though only few stores are open.

Baking Tray The Avenues Mall

Baking Tray is now open at The Avenues Mall and the best thing that they're going to serve breakfast from 8:00am, now you'll have the chance to enjoy an amazing breakfast then go shopping early in the morning or even grab some of their well known cookies while they're still fresh.

Wok n Roll Soon At The Avenues

One of the best Chinese/Japanese restaurants in Kuwait is going to open soon at The Avenues Mall. Even though I never tried it yet but people are comparing it with Maki, some said that it's even better with reasonable prices and I believe there's only one way to find out.

Their first branch is located in Jabriya in front of Royal Hayat Hospital, and the one at The Avenues Mall is right next to Chili's.

Review: Potbelly

For a change we decided to try out a new restaurant and went to Potbelly, it's almost like Subway but with better ingredients and the bread they use is extremely delicious even better than Subway.

It's the same idea, you can make your own sub from the bread to the sauces or choose one of the sandwiches available in the menu. We have tried Italian, Clubby and Grilled Chicken & Cheese; all of them were incredibly amazing.

One more thing, if you had the chance to visit Potbelly try out their Brownie Cookies and you'll be able to taste one of the best cookies I have ever tried in my life. It's a brownie that looks like a cookie with melted chocolate chips inside.

I was kinda disappointed by one thing only, the sizes they offer. The Original sub size is the same size of a 6'' sub from Subway and the biggest size they have is almost 9'', compared to Subway which they have is a 12'' sub.

Review: Pita Pita Restaurant

Pita Pita is a restaurant specialized in freshly made pita bread, sandwiches and salads. I was at sharq so I decided to pass by and order a pick-up from them.

We were 5 people so we decided to try all their sandwiches. We ordered the grilled chicken, pita special chicken, pita cheese steak, pita cheese burger, BTP, Veggie and Nutella.

My favorite sandwiches were pita special chicken, pita cheese steak and nutella. The pita bread tasted amazing.

Subway Opening Soon in Mishref

Subway will be opening soon in Mishref at Block 3 Co-op branch. They are increasing rapidly in each area. Until now they have over 45 branches in Kuwait.

I'm glad that they are finally open in my area Mishref.

McDonald's Stylish Design at Wafra

I was at McDonald's Rahal a couple of days ago and was astonished by the great design of the store.
I never seen such great decoration from Mcdonalds before, not even outside Kuwait. The atmosphere of the place is really amazing.

I hope restaurants take more effort on interior decoration because it's really important.

Shake Shack Opens Thursday

The official opening of Shake Shack will be tomorrow Thursday 7th July. Shake Shack is a restaurant chain serving hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, milkshakes and similar foods.

I've tried Shake Shack in NY and Dubai, and I'm so excited that it'll open in Kuwait. Their burgers and shakes are one of the best.

Shake Shack is located in the Avenues Mall. Be sure to visit them early so that you wont have to wait in line.

A Restaurant Stealing Ideas?

I saw a flyer on my car about a new restaurant opening in Mishref Block 5. While I was looking at the menu, I realized that some of their sandwiches are identically taken from other restaurants.

KFC's famous zinger supreme and mighty zinger were included in the menu. Out of curiosity, I decided to order their Zinger supreme just to find out the difference between them. The sandwich turned out nothing at all like what I had in mind, it had a very bad taste for a sandwich.

What were they thinking stealing ideas from other restaurants in such an obvious way?

Review: Taco Bell's Volcano Menu

Yesterday we were invited along with other bloggers to try out Taco Bell's "Volcano Menu" at their new location near Sha'ab Park ( next to the entrance gate ). The name says it all; three new seriously spicy products have been added to their menu Volcano Taco, Volcano Burrito and Volcano Nachos.

Cocoa Room Opening Date

According to Cocoa Room's twitter account ( @CocoaRoom_ ), it will be open on the 1st of June which is after 4 days from today. Only breakfast will be available at the opening.

Review: Salad Creation

I've tried many salads from different restaurants and Salad Creation was one of the best, you can choose one of three kinds of lettuce and my favorite is the ice burg. Like Subway, Salad Creation will let you choose the whole ingredients for you salad.

Review: McDonald's Grande Chicken

One of the best sandwiches at McDonald's was the Grande Chicken, it was for a limited time only and they stopped serving it for a while. Now it's back with three different sauces, the "Classic" is kinda tastes like the normal McChicken, the "Deluxe" taste exactly like the old Grande Chicken and the "Special" which has the same sauce Chicken Gourmet has plus bacon.

I honestly liked both the Deluxe and the Special Grande Chicken, if you like mustard try Deluxe and if you already love Chicken Gourmet try the Special.

Grande Chicken is my new favorite sandwich from McDonald's.

Review: Burger King's Cheesy Chicken Royale

Yesterday Burger King gave us the opportunity to try their latest product, the Cheesy Chicken Royale. I love the original chicken royale but this one is even much better with all that mixture of cheese inside the chicken patty. It has shredded mozzarella and mature cheddar supported with natural cheese flavor.

From now on if I'm going to order from Burger King again I'm gonna choose the Cheesy Chicken Royale instead of the original Chicken Royale. The regular meal will cost you 1.450KD only.

It's recommended specially for cheese lovers !

Johnny Rocket's Mini Burgers

I passed by Johnny Rockets days ago and noticed that they've added new items to their menu, Johnny now have mini rockets and mini hot dogs. I've tried the three minis and they were delicious as usual specially the mini rocket, but the only thing I didn't like is the chili over the second hot dog.

Couldn't try the other items since we had a movie to catch. I would definitely have them again, but this time without the chili hot dog.

Shake Shack

I always wanted to try out Shack Shake's burger from the moment I saw Mark posting about it in his blog. The pictures he took makes my mouth water, that's why I'm so happy that they're going to open in Kuwait and I don't have to travel to the US just to try their burgers out.

Can't wait to try them out !
