Review: Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

The movie turned out to be fantastic in all aspects. Tom Cruise did a fantastic job in creating the best Mission Impossible series so far. Simon Pegg did a great job as-well with his humorous character.

I love how the movie was shot in multiple places. It took place in Dubai, India, Russia, Czech Republic and Canada.

The duration of the movie was a bit long for an action movie. It's almost 2 hours and 10 minutes long. The movie is great to watch with all the spy equipments, gadgets and incredible action scenes.

My rating 8.5/10

Review: Immortals

Immortals is based upon Greek mythology. Theseus is a mortal man chosen by Zeus to lead the fight against the ruthless King Hyperion, who is on a rampage across Greece to obtain a weapon that can destroy humanity. via IMDB

The visuals were stunning along with the amazing action scenes. I loved the acting of Mickey Rourke (King Hyperion) and Henry Cavill (Theseus). I didn't enjoy the moral of the story and I expected a better ending.

I would rate it 7.5/10

Berserk Movie Trailer

Berserk is a famous manga series written and illustrated by Kentaro Miura. They will release the first film, Berserk Golden Age Arc I: Egg of the Supreme Ruler. It'll be released in January 2012 by Warner Bros. Pictures in Japan

The Avengers Official Trailer

The Avengers is an upcoming superhero film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures.

It will include heroes from Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and The Incredible Hulk.

The Avengers is scheduled to be released on May 4, 2012.

Review: Captain America

The movie starts in a good shape with a interesting story line. A guy who volunteers to be part of a military service but gets refused because of his asthma and weak body. However, a doctor from a top secret research program finds him and accepts him; soon enough to turn him into Captain America.

After he becomes Captain America the movie starts to get really boring. The middle part and last part of the movie were truly awful. I tried my best to keep myself awake but couldn't bare the boredom of the movie. I didn't enjoy the action scenes neither the acting in the movie.

I expected a lot more. I would rate the movie 4/10

Batman 3: The Dark Knight Rises Trailer

The Dark Knight Rises will be the third and final installment in Nolan's Batman film series. A few of the characters in the movie will be Catwoman, Bane and Ra's al Ghul.

I'm a huge fan of Batman and it seems that they are working hard on this series. It will be released on July 20, 2012.

Review: The Hangover Part2

I loved the Hangover2. There were lots of great laughs and funny scenes. If you enjoyed the first part then you'll definitely love the second one. It happened again but this time they ended up not remembering what happened in Bangkok.

Everything is great about the movie except the disturbing many frontal male nudity scenes. Cinescape has the movie in the coming soon section to be released on 9/6/2011 which I highly doubt.

I would rate the movie 8/10

"X-Men: First Class" Movie Premiere by VIVA

We were invited by VIVA to attend "X-Men: First Class" movie premiere which was held at 360 mall, the VIP section. Many bloggers were there and it was nice to meet each one of them like p0ach, Omarker, Q8AllinOne, BlogLaish, 360Dewan and much more. Also a pleasure to meet Mr.Fahad AlFahad, Abdulrazag AlMutaawa and all those working at VIVA.

Review: "Fast Five"

Everyone was talking about how good the movie "Fast Five" is and some consider it as the best movie in 2011. Yesterday I saw the movie and it was good, loved the cars and the action scenes but to be honest the movie has lots of mistakes. The Rock was the only actor that is ALWAYS sweaty in every scene, and the story line wasn't that good.

What makes this movie good is the cool cars and the chasing scenes. Overall, it's a good movie but they should reconsider the tiny details in the story and it will be brilliant. My rate for this movie is 7/10

Review: "Thor"

One of my "Five Movies to Watch" list, Thor was incredibly amazing and I enjoyed every minute of it. Marvel movies are getting better and better each year, can't imagine how the Avengers movie would be like with all these super heroes in one movie.


What I really enjoyed in the movie is the highly detailed graphics and the story was breathtaking from the beginning of the movie till the end.

My rate for Thor is 8.5/10, highly recommended.

 Since I was at Wataniya's backstage event I missed Kuwait International Film Retreat day 1. It's basically an event that concentrates on movies and the film industry in and outside Kuwait.

A real life movie trailer for the famous game app Angry Birds. I think the trailer is a parody nevertheless, it's totally awesome!

Review: "Battle: Los Angeles"

Just saw "Battle: Los Angeles" movie and it wasn't what I've expected. The movie was kinda good only if it wasn't 114 minutes or if we chose a place other than Muhallab Mall to watch the movie. It's about aliens invasion and the story concentrates on a marine platoon trying to save Los Angeles from the invasion.

The Kuwait Young Film Contest is a cultural and academic competition. Their main objective is to put Kuwait on the map of the international cinema industry and to support the talented youth.

The Deadline to submitting your film for the Kuwait Young Film Contest is March 10th.

There are many talented Kuwaiti movie makers and I encourage them to participate in this competition.

Five Movies To Watch

Five upcoming movies that I really can't wait to watch Captain America, Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Thor, X-Men: First Class and Transformers: Dark of The Moon. I have watched their trailers and I can tell that at least three of these five movies will be worth watching.

In Captain America, I was shocked when I saw Chris Evans thin and suddenly with muscles. I wonder if this was made by computer like 300 the movie. Pirates of The Caribbean always fun to watch, and I'm pretty sure that the new part will be incredible as usual.

Battle: Los Angeles

I've just watched an amazing trailer for a movie called "Battle: Los Angeles". Many people would say "Oh God, it's just another alien invasion movie", but after watching the trailer you'll fall in love with it !

I hope it's good as the trailer shows and there's only one way to find out, it will be released on the 11th of March 2011.

Batman's Mask and Batmobile

I was extremely shocked when I first saw it since I'm one of the biggest fans of Batman. The mask is not made for you to wear (Unfortunately) and it's not cheap either, costs 2,450AED (187.5KD).

You can find it in Dubai Mall in a store called "The Noble Collection" which is a very famous store in the U.S. and it's located near the cinema, almost in front of SEGA Republic. They also have many other incredible stuff like Harry Potter's magic wands and Lord of The Rings "ring" !

We also had the chance to finally see the Batmobile and its engine in Dubai Mall too.

I was so lucky to see all these in one day, only if I could have them all specially the Batmobile !

Marvel's Thor Official Trailer

Marvel's official Thor movie trailer has been released. I loved all Marvel movies and Thor looks like an amazing movie to watch. It is expected to be released on May 2011.
