My Ferrari World Experience

Last week we went to Dubai and one of our targets was the Ferrari World which is in Abu Dhabi near Yas Island. The place is super huge, I never imagine it this big and it may considered as one of the biggest indoor entertainment grounds in the world.

Koenigsegg - Agera R

A new car has been revealed by Koenigsegg and it's called "Agera R" almost the same Agera but with better engine and an R. The first thing that will come up on your minds is how many horse powers and whats the speed limits, well it has a 5.0-liter V8 engine with twin turbo supercharges that gives you 1115hp at 6900rpm.

The speed limits for this beauty is a little bit more than 440km/h and from 0-100km/h takes only 2.9 seconds. The only competitor for this car is Bugatti Veyron Super Sport since it has nearly 1200hp, 8.0-liter V12 engine and 434km/h for the speed limits.

Even thought it doesn't beat the Bugatti Veyron don't think the price will get any cheaper, Agera R costs around $1.6 million.

I guess one day we'll have cars that flies from speed.

Diego Forlan in Kuwait

According to Alwatan TV, AlRoudhan Tournament were happy to announce that Diego Forlan will come to Kuwait this Ramadan as for their 32nd tournament. Diego Forlan considered as one of the top forward players in the world at the age of 32 and he just won the Copa America 2011 with his national team Uruguay.

I really respect this player, and special thanks to AlRoudhan Tournament for bringing such a talent.

Kuwait 3zna Exhibition

After the success of Kuwait 3zna 2 years in a row, they will re-open their gates today for another big event filled with many Kuwaiti talents.

The New Nokia N9

Weeks ago we had the chance to try out the new Nokia N9 at their press conference in Kuwait with the attendance of Tom Farrell the general manager of Nokia Middle East.

The new mobile looks good and unique with only three button, a multi-touch screen and different colors to choose from. Nokia N9 doesn't have a home or a back button, whenever you want to change the app you're using all what you have to do is drag the screen to either left or right and you'll be back to the home screen.

It's fast and kinda user friendly, but the new Nokia unfortunately will not have an Android operating system which I think this will be their weakness in the market.

Overall it's a nice phone and I really like to have one since the OS is almost similar to the Android's and it has a 8MP camera which is impressive compared to other smartphones.

Nokia N9 will be available in the market at the end of this year.

500 liters of waterbased environmentally-friendly paint on asphalt spread by 2000 cars. It looks really amazing with the color combination.

McDonald's Stylish Design at Wafra

I was at McDonald's Rahal a couple of days ago and was astonished by the great design of the store.
I never seen such great decoration from Mcdonalds before, not even outside Kuwait. The atmosphere of the place is really amazing.

I hope restaurants take more effort on interior decoration because it's really important.

Actual Turbine Powered Batmobile

This is the only Batmobile created that makes fiction reality. It is powered by a military spec Boeing turboshaft engine driving the rear wheels through a semi automatic gearbox.

I wonder what'll happen if it passed our love street.

Courage in Action Seminar

We attended the "Courage in Action" seminar a couple of days ago and it was a really great experience. We learned and benefited a lot of things from Carol Talbot and AbdulWahab Al-Sultan. The training program talks about the techniques and strategies used by the most courageous people in the world.

MBC HD

All MBC channels are now available in High Definition (HD) video including MBC, MBC 2, MBC Action, MBC Drama, MBC Max, MBC 4 and Al-Arabiya.

I really love watching HD quality videos on TV and I got so excited when I heard about the release of MBC in HD format. However, the only drawback is that you can't watch MBC in HD unless you get a specific HD techno-sat receiver.

This is really frustrating if you already have more than one HD receiver. Most HD platforms are doing the same thing.

I hope MBC starts broadcasting their HD channels freely without requirement of buying it's own receiver.

Shake Shack Opens Thursday

The official opening of Shake Shack will be tomorrow Thursday 7th July. Shake Shack is a restaurant chain serving hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, milkshakes and similar foods.

I've tried Shake Shack in NY and Dubai, and I'm so excited that it'll open in Kuwait. Their burgers and shakes are one of the best.

Shake Shack is located in the Avenues Mall. Be sure to visit them early so that you wont have to wait in line.

Fingers Sunglasses From Eye Boutique

While I was hunting down sunglasses at 360 mall, I saw a couple of unusually looking sunglasses. I first thought they were only for display but turned out they actually are for sale. Who would ever consider buying them? Apparently they are a limited edition eyeglasses from designer Jeremy Scott.

The price of fingers sunglasses cost 85KD. And they don't even have lenses for goodness sake.

A Restaurant Stealing Ideas?

I saw a flyer on my car about a new restaurant opening in Mishref Block 5. While I was looking at the menu, I realized that some of their sandwiches are identically taken from other restaurants.

KFC's famous zinger supreme and mighty zinger were included in the menu. Out of curiosity, I decided to order their Zinger supreme just to find out the difference between them. The sandwich turned out nothing at all like what I had in mind, it had a very bad taste for a sandwich.

What were they thinking stealing ideas from other restaurants in such an obvious way?
